Don Gato Reposado Tequila

Don Gato Reposado is no-nonsense tequila, born from the ripest lowland Blue Weber agave, carefully tended for 5 to 7 years. These piñas are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, then crushed with a volcanic tahona stone. Distilled in both copper pots for warmth and column stills for balance, the result is smooth, bold, and precise, just like Don Gato himself. After the battle of distillation, the spirit takes a brief but powerful rest in used bourbon barrels, soaking up mellow vanilla and spice without losing its agave fire. Don Gato doesn’t stack every barrel in the bodega anymore… just most of them.

On the nose and palate, Don Gato Reposado keeps your senses busy with golden raisin, Madagascar vanilla, lemon peel, and tart green apple, adding complexity to its cleaner Blanco sibling. The finish lingers with butterscotch, bourbon oak, peppercorn, and black tea, carried by the faint echoes of applause—possibly a standing ovation. This is tequila made good. For cool times.
