WhistlePig The Boss Hog III: The Independent
Since 2007, WhistlePig has been on a mission to make America's Rye Whiskey great again. Starting with a stock of 10-year-old blending Whiskey from Canada, they have since then been steadily building their way to a one-stop Single Malt Rye shop with all stages of the process located on-site.
The Independent, the Third Edition of Boss Hog, is a celebration of the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation that began it all. It's still a 100% Canadian Rye Whiskey aged for 14 years and finished in Hogshead 250-liter Scotch casks enhanced with new American oak heads.
The result is a punchy, massive, and unrelenting, yet harmonious flavor.
