This special Buffalo Trace collection pays tribute to the legendary and extraordinary Sazerac cocktail and the legendary New Orleans bartender Tomas H. Handy, who first made it using Rye Whiskey. A response to consumer requests for more well-aged and barrel-strength Whiskey, this is a collection of uncut and unfiltered Straight Rye Whiskeys full of authentic, rich flavors—a true symbol of the timeless history of New Orleans.

The 2019 expression is comprised of an unknown number of hand-picked barrels aged for over 6 years boasting rich notes of Crème Brûlée, vanilla, and spearmint. Bottled at 125.7 proof (62,85% ABV) in a clear bottle to showcase Whiskey's rich and dark color.
