Founded in 1822, Glenlivet is a famed Single Malt Scotch producer that needs no special introduction in the Spirit aficionado’s community. All their drams are the stuff of legends but once in a blue moon, you come across a truly special vintage Glenlivet, like this bottling from Gordon & Macphail.

Distilled in 1950, this precious collectible offering was bottled at over fifty years old in 2001. The old bottle design gives a good clue for the flavor profile of the Whisky – it tastes very different from the Whiskies of today. Despite the pleasantly low proof, prepare for unmatched complexity and depth.
