Monkey 47 Distiller's Cut 12th Edition Schwarzwald Dry Gin (375mL)

A Gin made with the help of monkey magic — and a touch of woodruff.

Alexander Stein was a man with a dream: to revive the recipe of a legendary Gin inspired by the tale of WWII Commander Montgomery Collins (aka Monty). After the war, Monty had his hands full with rebuilding the Berlin Zoo, sponsoring a monkey named Max, opening a guest house in honor of said monkey, and creating the legendary Schwarzwald Dry Gin. Just your average post-war to-do list, right? When Stein heard of this tale, he created Monkey 47 — choosing the name after the number of botanicals used in his Gin blends (and the monkey, obviously). He partnered with a like-minded distiller named Christoph Keller, and they set up shop in the very heart of the Black Forest. And before they knew it, their small-batch operation became a global sensation, now owned by Pernod Ricard. But that doesn’t mean that they have lost their monkey touch — the brand is still driven by Stein's passion for finding the one extra-special ingredient that will provide you with a pop of that extra zing with every sip!

Monkey 47 Distiller's Cut 12th Edition Schwarzwald Dry Gin stops the show with a special guest appearance — the aromatic and wild woodruff plant! Dubbed the "Master of the Forest" or "Waldmeister" in German, this plant adds a unique aroma that perfectly complements the traditional 47-ingredient Gin. The team hand-picked, dried, and infused the woodruff to create a 47% ABV Spirit that packs a bold flavor punch — but don't worry, it still maintains a delicate balance of spice, elegance, and complexity. So buckle up and ready for some really ape-pealing aromas!
