Lexington Bourbon

A straight-forward, Straight Bourbon with a classic flavor profile.

Western Spirits Beverage Company is a bit of an upstart in the world of Bourbon and American Whiskey. Founded in 2008 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, they focus on a vision to build unique, innovative spirit brands. And we’re lucky they did. They’ve developed a tidy range of Bourbons, American Whiskies, and even Moonshine brands to fit every palate and price point. Previously, their Spirits were sourced from a variety of distilleries in and out of Kentucky. But starting in 2017 they signed a distilling partnership with The Bardstown Bourbon Company so all of the Spirits comes from their impressive, state-of-the-art distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky.

Lexington Bourbon is named after a famous horse that sired more Kentucky Derby winners than any other. And we think that makes for a great name for a Bourbon. The intent was to make just that — and real deal Straight Bourbon that stayed squarely in its lane. That makes Lexington Bourbon a very nice daily dram and a solid Spirit for cocktails — and that’s a good thing. But they do not skimp. The 43% ABV will tell you that. In fact, it received a rating of 95 points from Tasting Panel magazine.
