The Glen Garioch Distillery is a relatively unknown Highland distillery — especially considering that it was established as early as 1794. Originally incorporating a brewery and tannery, one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland stands in a location, known as ‘the granary of Aberdeenshire’, where barley and crystal springs have been abundant for over a thousand years. Speaks for itself, doesn't it?

This 37-year-old Glen Garioch (pronounced 'Geery') was released to commemorate their 200th anniversary. It's a wonderful Scotch example with notes of tangerines, papaya, and passion fruit, followed by a backdrop of signature smoky peat, albeit reserved.

Presented in a beautiful lock and key wooden display box, this one was bottled in 1997 meaning it was likely distilled around 1960.
