A bunch of big things happened in 1989 when this elegant Single Malt Scotch was put to rest in refill American oak hogshead casks in the Highland village of Dalwhinnie. In 2020, it was bottled at 103.8 proof and released as a wise and well-rested Diageo Special Release in today's very different world. Exceptionally lively for its age, nobody's immune to this piece of art.
