Founded in 2017, Corgi Spirits might be based in the creative heart of Jersey City, but their inspo comes from across the channel. Their source of inspiration is the most quintessentially British dog breed; Corgis are feisty, agile, and dependable but also regal and distinguished (Is that the reason they’re the Queen’s favorite breed?) – kind of like Corgi Spirits that thrill your palate and enliven your evenings. This is a family-run, small-batch, and craft distillery – it’s actually the first one and (last time we checked) the only one in Hudson County New Jersey. Their methods are inspired by British distilling traditions and their Spirits are made from potatoes, which means they’re not only extra smooth but also gluten-free.

Corgi Saddlecoat Vodka is the mother of all their Spirits. Distilled 6 times from potatoes instead of the usual cheaper alternatives like corn (We’re not discriminating, it’s just facts), this small batch Vodka serves as base for all Corgi Spirits. It’s so creamy, so full-bodied, so smooth yet layered, you’ll immediately notice your Martini is a bit different, more elegant. Bottled at 80 proof and with a long and smooth finish, you might want to sip on this one neat, though.
