In 2008, Bruichladdich’s intrepid Master Distiller of the time, Jim McEwan, had the foresight to move the liquid to fresh Bourbon casks. In a rare move for the distillery, this dram is unpeated. But it delivers both fruity and salty sensations and has an enormous overall complexity.
