Casa Montes Leyva, founded by Macrina Montes in the south of Jalisco, embodies the spirit of its unique agave fields. Dissatisfied by the lack of regional representation, Montes created a brand that highlights her homeland's terroir. Dedicated to authenticity and quality, Casa Montes Leyva crafts tequila showcasing the distinct flavors of its native fields.

Azul Imperial Añejo Tequila is a premium spirit crafted exclusively from agave grown on the estate's fields. Each batch is produced from a single field, emphasizing the terroir. The agave is steamed in an autoclave, crushed using a roller mill, and undergoes a three-day fermentation. It is double distilled in small copper pots and aged 18 months in lightly toasted American white oak barrels, resulting in rich flavors of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak.
