You know what's a damn good distillery? Ardbeg. Arguably, it's one of the greatest ones on Earth (we'll be glad to take that one up over a few drams at the bar). The distillery was founded in the early 18th century on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, and is now owned by Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy. And you know what? It produces one of the most peated Scotch Whiskies out there.

This 16 year old vintage is known for its peaty soul with a honey like edge. It was discontinued pretty fast as the stock ran out so there are quite few of these bottles left.

Ardbeg is the weapon of choice for all the peat extremists out there. And this bottle is a powerful peat bomb. But listen, don't take our word for it — let your palate be your guide.
