Angel’s Envy is an exclusive family affair from Louisville, Kentucky and Port cask finishes are their thing. This time, the family turned to Madeira casks to finish Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and they really went all the way. As in literally went all the way to Madeira themselves, where they tried more than 30 varieties until they found the perfect balance between the dryness of a good sherry and the richness of tawny port.

Unlike other port-friendly offerings that usually spent between 3-6 months in the casks, this highly limited tipple was given a whole year to develop its abundance of flavors of oak, grass, smoke, leather, chocolate and dried cherries. Simply bonito.
